FRIENDSHIP

From my past experiences, I assume that friendships are fragile.. why fragile? because without effort and certain determination to keep it complete, it would definitely be incomplete. There are soo many aspects to be accommodate in friendships. And before you need those accommodations, you certainly need a measurement on how your relation with your friends can be called as a "TRUE FRIENDSHIP". Based on all what I know, you've reached an ultimate level of being friends when you can easily or constantly to a person, telling your secrets that not every person deserves to know them. And another signal of being a true friends is, you'd feel like you lose something when they're not there with you. You'll always looking for opportunities to actually be with them. Friendships fragility has been coloring my life ever since I know what friendship truly means. Friends sometimes come and go without I even had chance to blink. Friends sometimes last, sometimes don't. I learn from it. Past experiences of friendship really brings me betterment towards my future, hopefully. I do cherish the existence of my BFF. While at the same time, I have to be smart enough, not to be selfish and actually I feel like I've tried my best to keep them beside me always. Hopefully, all my friendship will really impact me good and won't last as short as making popcorn with microwave..

what does it mean to be a Global Citizen?

Global Citizens’ Initiative we say that a “global citizen is someone who identifies with being part of an emerging world community and whose actions contribute to building this community’s values and practices.” To test the validity of this definition we examine its basic assumptions: (a) that there is such a thing as an emerging world community with which people can identify (b) that such a community has a nascent set of values and practices. Historically, human beings have always formed communities based on shared identity. Such identity gets forged in response to a variety of human needs— economic, political, religious and social. As group identities grow stronger, those who hold them organize into communities, articulate their shared values, and build governance structures to support their beliefs. Today, the forces of global engagement are helping some people identify as global citizens who have a sense of belonging to a world community. This growing global identity in large part is made possible by the forces of modern information, communications and transportation technologies. In increasing ways these technologies are strengthening our ability to connect to the rest of the world—through the Internet; through participation in the global economy; through the ways in which world-wide environmental factors play havoc with our lives; through the empathy we feel when we see pictures of humanitarian disasters in other countries; or through the ease with which we can travel and visit other parts of the world. Those of us who see ourselves as global citizens are not abandoning other identities, such as allegiances to our countries, ethnicities and political beliefs. These traditional identities give meaning to our lives and will continue to help shape who we are. However, as a result of living in a globalized world, we understand that we have an added layer of responsibility; we also are responsible for being members of a world-wide community of people who share the same global identity that we have. We may not yet be fully awakened to this new layer of responsibility, but it is there waiting to be grasped. The major challengethat we face in the new millennium is to embrace our global way of being and build a sustainable values-based world community. What might our community’s values be? They are the values that world leaders have been advocating for the past 70 years and include human rights, environmental protection, religious pluralism, gender equity, sustainable worldwide economic growth, poverty alleviation, prevention of conflicts between countries, elimination of weapons of mass destruction, humanitarian assistance and preservation of cultural diversity. Since World War II, efforts have been undertaken to develop global policies and institutional structures that can support these enduring values. These efforts have been made by international organizations, sovereign states, transnational corporations, international professional associations and others. They have resulted in a growing body of international agreements, treaties, legal statutes and technical standards. Yet despite these efforts we have a long way to go before there is a global policy and institutional infrastructure that can support the emerging world community and the values it stands for. There are significant gaps of policy in many domains, large questions about how to get countries and organizations to comply with existing policy frameworks, issues of accountability and transparency and, most important of all from a global citizenship perspective, an absence of mechanisms that enable greater citizen participation in the institutions of global governance. The Global Citizens’ Initiative sees the need for a cadre of citizen leaders who can play activist roles in efforts to build our emerging world community. Such global citizenship activism can take many forms, including advocating, at the local and global level for policy and programmatic solutions that address global problems; participating in the decision-making processes of global governance organizations; adopting and promoting changes in behavior that help protect the earth’s environment; contributing to world-wide humanitarian relief efforts; and organizing events that celebrate the diversity in world music and art, culture and spiritual traditions. Most of us on the path to global citizenship are still somewhereat the beginning of our journey. Our eyes have been opened and our consciousness raised. Instinctively, we feel a connection with others around the world yet we lack the adequate tools, resources, and support to act on our vision. Our ways of thinking and being are still colored by the trapping of old allegiances and ways of seeing things that no longer are as valid as they used to be. There is a longing to pull back the veil that keeps us from more clearly seeing the world as a whole and finding more sustainable ways of connecting with those who share our common humanity.

Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful young lady named, Grace. Not only did she is beautiful, but she was also kind and smart. She came from an honoured family, but she wasn’t arrogant, that’s one of the reasons why everyone loved and adored her, including the two princes of the kingdom, Will and Hans.
Years earlier, Grace was kidnapped by the Wicked Witch but eventually saved by the princes, who later both developed a crush on her. Her parents were also killed, so from that day Grace lived with her best friends, Jane and Elizabeth.
One day, Grace was walking around the forest with Jane and Elizabeth. But unfortunately, Grace lost track of them. Then, the wicked witch and her minion, Ammie, appeared out of nowhere in front of her.

Wicked witch  : Hello, dear. Nice meeting you here.
Grace               : What do you want from me?
Wicked witch  : Oh, you know, just want to casually take away your happiness.
Grace               : What have I ever done to you?
Wicked witch  : So oblivious, you make the whole kingdom hate me and you still ask why?
Will                 : Stop! Get away from her! (hold out his sword)
Wicked witch  : You again, why am I not surprised?
Hans                : He said, get away from her! (appear beside Will)
Ammie                        : The princess can’t even fight for her own battle, what a coward! (laughing)
Wicked witch  : Quiet! (turn to Grace) You heard what she said, I’ll give you five days. (disappear)
Jane                 : Grace, are you okay? You don’t have to do it.
Grace               : No, she’s right, I have to fight for my own battle.
Elizabeth         : But you can’t even use any weapon, how will you fight her?
Grace               : I don’t know.
Will                 : Don’t worry, we know someone who can teach you everything in a short period of time.
Elizabeth         : Who?
Hans                : Robin, she’s a professional archer.
And so, the five of them went to Robin’s house and asked for her help. She gladly taught Grace and her friends how to fight and defend themselves. Two days later…
Robin              : So, you need to duck every time someone tries to shoot you. Like this. (duck)
Jane                 : Like this? (duck)
Robin              : Yeah, good job, Jane. Nice shot, Liz.
Elizabeth         : Thank’s. Hey, Jane, look at them. (pointing at Grace and Will)
Jane                 : They look so cute together. (gush)
Elizabeth         : I bet they like each other.
Grace               : Hey, Robin, can they take a few minutes break?
Robin              : Sure, just make sure you guys remember what I taught you. I will test you after the break.
Elizabeth         : Hey, Grace, come here!
Grace               : What is it?
Jane                 : Do you have a crush on Will?
Grace               : What? No! (embarrassed)
Elizabeth         : Don’t lie to us, Grace, it’s obvious!
Grace               : Okay, I like Will. But, don’t tell anyone about this.
Hans, who had a crush on Grace, overheard this conversation. From that day, every time he looked at Grace and Will together, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.
Hans                : Why can’t she like me? Why should she like Will? (kick a stone)
Robin              : (appear behind Hans with Will) Hey, Hans, can you help Will with the arrows?
Hans                : Oh, hey, Robin, sure.
Grace               : (come in) Where are you going, Robin?
Robin              : Oh, I need to run some errands. I’ll be back by noon. (leave)
Will                 : Is it me or the sun shines brighter when you’re around?
Grace               : Such a flirt, Will.
Hans                : Uhm, I…I need to go. (go to the forest)
Ammie                        : She loves your brother, right? How could he betray you?
Hans                : He doesn’t betray me.
Ammie                        : He definitely did and you need to take a revenge.
Hans                : What? No!
Ammie                        : It will be worth it.
Hans                : But I can’t betray them.
Ammie                        : You won’t look like it.
Ammie                        :We’ll make you look like a hero.
Hans                : How?
Ammie                        : (whisper inaudibly)
Hans                : Okay, I’ll go with you
So then, Hans went to the Wicked Witch’s lair, leaving his friends behind in hope that the plan would work and somehow, Grace would fall in love with him instead.
Meanwhile, the wicked witch was preparing brew a poison, which later would be put inside her sword.
Wicked witch  : Oh dear, what a surprise. Finally, you’ve chosen the right side.
Hans                : I only do this for revenge.
Wicked witch  : Ah, the power of unrequited love.
Hans                : But don’t kill Grace.
Wicked witch  : Let me think about that. (after a few seconds) Alright, deal. Now scoot! Prepare yourself for the battle tomorrow.
The next day is the fifth day, the day of the battle. Grace, Will, Elizabeth, Jane and Robin were preparing for the battle when Robin realised that Hans was nowhere in sight.
Jane                 : Where is Hans?
Will                 : We don’t know.
Elizabeth         : Last time we saw him was yesterday.
Will                 : Yeah, he was helping me with the arrows.
Robin              : Has anyone tried to look for him?
Grace               : We have, but we couldn’t find him.
Robin              : But you don’t have time to search for him now.
Jane                 : Yeah, we have to go now.
Robin              : Good luck, I put my faith in you.
The four of them went to the battlefield, a beautiful green meadow. The wicked witch and her minions were already there. Little did they know that Hans was hiding among them.
Wicked witch  : So, shall the battle begin?
Will                 : Hans? (confused)
Ammie                        : Fight!
Everyone         : (fight each other, until Wicked Witch kill Grace)
Will & Hans    : No!
Elizabeth&Jane: Grace!
Hans                : You lied! (kill Wicked Witch)
 Ammie           : (gasp)
Everyone was shocked with what just happened, until they realised that Hans had actually betrayed them.
Elizabeth         : Hans, you betray us?
Hans                : I… I’m sorry, it’s just, I’m in love with Grace and she loves Will.
Will                 : You love Grace? I… I didn’t know.
Jane                 : But you can’t use it as a reason to betray us.
Hans                : I’m sorry…
Will                 : It’s not that easy, Hans.
Years later, Will had became a king while Robin was  as the king’s advisor. Jane and Elizabeth now lived in the palace. They hadn’t forgiven Hans since that battle. He now lived in a tiny little house in the middle of the forest with   and Ammie.
On one sunny morning, Hans and the minions were sweeping the floor of the front of their tiny little house. But Hans wasn’t focused on his job, his mind was travelling somewhere else.
Hans                : (stop sweeping) I miss the kingdom.
Ammie           : Don’t be sad, Hans. You still have me.
Will                 : (come) Hans.
 &Ammie: Your highness. (bow)
Ammie                        : Uhm, pardon, but why do you come here?
Will                 : We decided to forgive Hans.
Jane                 : And we want you back in the kingdom.
Robin              : Ammie too.
 Hans               : Are you sure?
Elizabeth         : Positive!
Hans                : Thank you, brother. I’m sorry for what I’ve done.
Will                 : It’s alright, I’m glad to have you back.
Like every fairytale, this one, ended happily. Even, when Hans had done a terrible mistake, the other still forgave him despite how it took them years to do so. As for the beautiful and kindlady, she would never be forgotten because the meadow where they fought, was now named after her. Meadow of Grace.
Moral of the story: We shouldn’t be blinded by hatred and jealousy. Also, we must always forgive people even if they’ve done a terrible mistake.

Sleeping Beauty

Once upon a time there lived a king and queen who were very unhappy because they had no children. But at last a little daughter was born, and their sorrow was turned to joy. All the bells in the land were rung to tell the glad tidings.
The king gave a christening feast so grand that the like of it had never been known. He invited all the fairies he could find in the kingdom—there were seven of them—to come to the christening as godmothers. He hoped that each would give the princess a good gift.
When the christening was over, the feast came. Before each of the fairies was placed a plate with a spoon, a knife, and a fork—all pure gold. But alas! As the fairies were about to seat themselves at the table, there came into the hall a very old fairy who had not been invited. She had left the kingdom fifty years before and had not been seen or heard of until this day.
The king at once ordered that a plate should be brought for her, but he could not furnish a gold one such as the others had. This made the old fairy angry, and she sat there muttering to herself.
A young fairy who sat near overheard her angry threats. This good godmother, fearing the old fairy might give the child an unlucky gift, hid herself behind a curtain. She did this because she wished to speak last and perhaps be able to change the old fairy’s gift.
At the end of the feast, the youngest fairy stepped forward and said, “The princess shall be the most beautiful woman in the world.”
The second said,
“She shall have a temper as sweet as an angel.”
The third said,
“She shall have a wonderful grace in all she does or says.”
The fourth said,
“She shall sing like a nightingale.”
The fifth said,
“She shall dance like a flower in the wind.”
The sixth said,
“She shall play such music as was never heard on earth.”
Then the old fairy’s turn came. Shaking her head spitefully, she said,
“When the princess is seventeen years old, she shall prick her finger with a spindle, and-she-shall-die!”
At this all the guests trembled, and many of them began to weep. The king and queen wept loudest of all.
Just then the wise young fairy came from behind the curtain and said: “Do not grieve, O King and Queen. Your daughter shall not die. I cannot undo what my elder sister has done; the princess shall indeed prick her finger with the spindle, but she shall not die. She shall fall into sleep that will last a hundred years. At the end of that time, a king’s son will find her and awaken her.”
Immediately all the fairies vanished.
II
The king, hoping to save his child even from this misfortune, commanded that all spindles should be burned. This was done, but it was all in vain.
One day when the princess was seventeen years of age, the king and queen left her alone in the castle. She wandered about the palace and at last came to a little room in the top of a tower. There an old woman—so old and deaf that she had never heard of the king’s command—sat spinning.
“What are you doing, good old woman?” asked the princess.
“I am spinning, my pretty child.”
“Ah,” said the princess. “How do you do it? Let me see if I can spin also.”
She had just taken the spindle in her hand when, in some way, it pricked her finger. The princess dropped down on the floor. The old woman called for help, and people came from all sides, but nothing could be done.
When the good young fairy heard the news, she came quickly to the castle. She knew that the princess must sleep a hundred years and would be frightened if she found herself alone when she awoke. So the fairy touched with her magic wand all in the palace except the king and the queen. Ladies, gentlemen, pages, waiting maids, footmen, grooms in the stable, and even the horses—she touched them all. They all went to sleep just where they were when the wand touched them. Some of the gentlemen were bowing to the ladies, the ladies were embroidering, the grooms stood currying their horses, and the cook was slapping the kitchen boy.
The king and queen departed from the castle, giving orders that no one was to go near it. This command, however, was not needed. In a little while there sprang around the castle a wood so thick that neither man nor beast could pass through.
III
A great many changes take place in a hundred years. The king had no other child, and when he died, his throne passed to another royal family. Even the story of the sleeping princess was almost forgotten.
One day the son of the king who was then reigning was out hunting, and he saw towers rising above a thick wood. He asked what they were, but no one could answer him.
At last an old peasant was found who said, “Your highness, fifty years ago my father told me that there is a castle in the woods where a princess sleeps—the most beautiful princess that ever lived. It was said that she must sleep there a hundred years, when she would be awakened by a king’s son.”
At this the young prince determined to find out the truth for himself. He leaped from his horse and began to force his way through the wood. To his astonishment, the stiff branches gave way, and then closed again, allowing none of his companions to follow.
A beautiful palace rose before him. In the courtyard the prince saw horses and men who looked as if they were dead. But he was not afraid and boldly entered the palace. There were guards motionless as stone, gentlemen and ladies, pages and footmen, some standing, some sitting, but all like statues.
At last the prince came to a chamber of gold, where he saw upon a bed the fairest sight one ever beheld—a princess of about seventeen years who looked as if she had just fallen asleep. Trembling, the prince knelt beside her, and awakened her with a kiss. And now the enchantment was broken.
The princess looked at him with wondering eyes and said: “Is it you, my prince? I have waited for you long.”
So happy were the two that they talked hour after hour. In the meantime all in the palace awaked and each began to do what he was doing when he fell asleep. The gentlemen went on bowing to the ladies. The ladies went on with their embroidery. The grooms went on currying their horses, the cook went on slapping the kitchen boy, and the servants began to serve the supper. Then the chief lady in waiting, who was ready to die of hunger, told the princess aloud that supper was ready.
The prince gave the princess his hand, and they all went into the great hall for supper. That very evening the prince and princess were married. The next day the prince took his bride to his father’s palace, and there they lived happily ever afterward.

Presentation Hometown ; Hello Bali! Heaven on Earth

Dear you,

Our distances become the same of my life.
Even without your current existence around me,
Your voice keep humming,
flooding inside my head.

My love to you acts like...
a question left unanswered.

But you're not here, right now.
Things limit to form,
only as memories.
Sweet lovely memories.

My nothing of you is not only as my desires,
but also my needs
because I need you.

And it's simply,
I miss You

MATSWAPATI

Sunday, 27th September 2014 My beloved school held a culture festival named "MATSWAPATI" at Lapangan Bali. It was organized by OSIS LXI. The name "MATSWAPATI" derives from wayang figure which has an exact same name, in perwayangan "MATSWAPATI" knows as the king of kings.

One day before the festival began me and my classmates did stand decoration with our seniors. Our stand named "Ciaobella" it offers beer pong game. On saturday, the day when MASWAPATI held, I came to Lapangan Bali at 07.00 AM. To join the parade with my classmates, we walked around Bandung City. After that me and my friend , Rara were enjoying the festival, we bought some food and drink to celebrate. Because we felt kinda bored we went home at 11.00 AM and went back to MATSWAPATI after dzuhur prayer.

Unfortunately we had a physics task that wasn't finish yet. So we did it together while the other were enjoying the festival. We took some photos with our friends and seniors while waiting barsena and glenn fredly to perform.

About at 4 PM barsena start to sang. We enjoyed the music happily. At 6 PM finally the one I was waiting for came to te stage!!!!  Then Glenn Fredly sang soo many songs. I was very happy. I'll never forget that moments.

Look at the moon,
see it glow, watch it dance.
When you feel low,
think of me, think of moonlight.
I'll always be here, day or night.
A candle flickers, out of sight.
But in my heart ; you still burn bright.
Think not of sadness ; that I'm not near.
Think of gladness ; and joyous cheer.
I have no left, I am not gone.
I'm here to stay, whatever it takes.
Dear the distant you..
so when you see the moon and you see its glow,
then you watch its dance,
In your heart you will know that I would never leave you,
even when you feel so blue.
I'm sitting up here with the lord.
and now watching over you,
missing you in every second.
in every breath that I take.

The Girl He Loves

There was a man who once I knew,
for me there was no other.
The closer to loving me he grew,
the more he would grew further.
I tried to love him as his friend,
then to love him as his lover.
But he never loves me in the end;
his heart was for another
